Words of welcome
It is with great pleasure that I present to you the brand-new website of the Embassy of Haiti in the Republic of China – Taiwan. An interactive portal, which is meant to be wherever our fellow citizens are located who wish to inform about cooperation and benefit from the services of the Mission, they can do so through this platform.
The Embassy of Haiti in the Republic of China (Taiwan) is the diplomatic representation of the Republic of Haiti to the Republic of China (Taiwan). It is among fourteen (14) foreign diplomatic missions in Taiwan and also one of fifty-five (55) Haitian diplomatic and consular representations around the world.
Since April 1956, diplomatic relations between the Republic of Haiti and the Republic of China (Taiwan) were established by mutual consent, as prescribed by the 1961 Vienna Convention. Over the decades, the relations increasingly strengthened to the rich Haitian-Taiwanese cooperation that we share today.
The Embassy is tasked, among other things, with protecting the interests of Haiti and its nationals, promoting friendly, economic, cultural and scientific relations in Taiwan, between the two countries.
